Artist Dublenco Igor Viktorovich

Country: Moldova
City: Tiraspol

Mythological Surrealism is the own personal style by the young Igor Dublenco. Images of his paintings having deep philosophical contents attracted attention of thousands people in Moldova and Transnistria. In spite of his youth, Igor has already exposed more than twenty exhibitions in the best exposition halls and galleries of Moldova Republic. Since childhood, being fond of drawing, Igor excellently finished the fine arts school and then graduated as a designer from the Slavonic University of Moldova Republic. When he was only fifteen, he exposed his first personal exhibition. Now, at his twenty three, due to his great diligence and growing, several dozens of distinguished paintings have been created by him for exposure. The style hasn’t get shaped up to the end yet and it’s situated in dynamics of development. Nevertheless it’s rather specific and distinguishable. It contains of ornate and grotesque black Gothic, mythical spectres of the past epocs, tunes of distinctive Moldavian folk features and post–industrial hi–tech. And all of these are in the atmosphere of mystique with the philosophy of apocalyptic presentiment. Originals of Igor Dublenco’s paintings are possessed of “enchantment”, energy of sweet depression and elements of optical illusion. Perception of these paintings demands certain psychological training. First of all it’s necessary to break down the stereotype that arts must be obligatory expressive of only beauty of the Universe. In fact, the world both real and mystic one exists in continuous struggle against opposites: Kindness vis Evil, Ugliness vis Perfection, Joy of Life vis Darkness of Death, Closing eyes before the dark side of the dual world makes us blind and weak. Concealed in the shade of our consciousness the Dark power invades spiritual and material world bringing us to Apocalypse.
Igor Dublenco offers to have a new look at our “turned inside out” world. This Epoc goes to finish, the next will begin. What will you bring for the future? Open eyes and make your choice.
