Anatoliy Ivanovich Kuvin. (Date of birth 29.11.1931)
Painter.He graduated from the Ivanovo Art School in 1951, then Moscow

State Art Institute named after Surikov in 1956.

Member of the Artists' Union since 1977. Artist's work is

characterized by a variety of painting manners, from the style of the

Vladimir school of landscape (from 1960) up to academically

naturalistic style (from the mid-1980s.). Anatoliy Kuvin is author of

series of landscapes associated with the heroic past of Russia,

and also with Esenin's, and Pushkin's places. There are also

still lifes and portraits by Kuvin. His book

"The version of the tenth chapter" was published in 2005. It was dedicated to the mysterious end of the poem "Eugene

Ognegin" by Pushkin.
