In the 43 th went to the front and fought until the Day of Victory. In 1950 he graduated from the military service. And as an adult entered the Kharkov Art Institute, graduating in 55th year with honors.

and the Exhibition Committee, was elected deputy of the City Council of Norilsk.

20 years, from 1960 to 1980, he worked in the Far North and the Arctic began his artistic homeland. He traveled by dog ​​sled and ice reconnaissance aircraft, reindeer and atomic icebreaker "Lenin".
He visited with a sketchbook in Dixon, many polar stations, Severnaya Zemlya and Franz Josef Land, polar stations. And in 1968 he traveled by car to all the republics of the Soviet Union.

About ten years Nikolai Pavlovich worked in Krasnoyarsk. There, he was elected deputy chairman of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Union of Artists of Russian Federation and a member of the Board, a member of the regional committee of the exhibition.

Since 1987, lived in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban. During this time they were opened permanent exhibitions of his work in schools, houses of culture, children's art school. More than 70 works donated to the Slavic Local History Museum.

Nikolai Pavlovich awarded eleven government awards the Medal Fund for Peace, a gold medal "Winner" and commemorative medals for participation in exhibitions.

In 1976, Loewe was awarded the title "Honored Artist of Russia," and in 2003 for his outstanding contribution to the cultural development of the country, he was awarded the title of "People's Artist of the Russian Federation." This is the only artist in the North Caucasus with the honorary title.
