Artist Grishin Dmitry Victorovich

The mysterious world shown by the artist is inhabited by realistic and fairytale creatures. Flowers, shells, sunflowers implement in author’s interpretation the idea of human life. The artist comprehends every depicted object as a unique phenomenon brimming with magic energy. The artist’s fathomless canvases with transparent skies, vague structures, fragile trees at the horizon and distinct front objects are mysteriously energized.
Dmitry feels the architecture of a leaf, a shell, a bending wave. Bewitched by their plasticity, he develops a rhythmical motif turning it into an abstract and independently evolving pattern. This approach allows the artist to unite the realistic comprehension of the world and its symbolic meaning.
All the pictures seem to be continuously living their life, owing to the double nature of the subjects portrayed. The author can distinguish hints and allusions woven into the context of the reality, and embody them in visual shapes.
