Petr Dik (January 1, 1939, Glyaden, Blagoveshchensk District, Altai Territory - August 14, 2002, Worpswede, Germany) - famous Soviet graphic artist, member of the Russian Union of Artists (1977), People's Artist of Russia (1999).

Born on January 1, 1939 in the village of Glyaden, in the Annunciation district of the Altai Territory in historically developed German settlement.
In 1962 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Art College. ID Shadr, and in 1973 the Moscow Higher School of Industrial Art.
Since the late 1960s, he lived in Vladimir. He worked in the original technique - pastel and charcoal on sandpaper.
In 1991 he was awarded the vzanie Honored Artist of the RSFSR, and in 1999 - People's Artist of Russia, and in 2001 was awarded the German-Russian award in the field of culture.
He died suddenly on August 14, 2002 in the city of Worpswede, Germany, on the eve of the opening of his exhibition. He was buried in Vladimir.

Since 1992, the artist's works are exhibited in Dusseldorf, Berlin, Munich, Sankt Augustin, Hamburg, Nuremberg and Pommersfeldene and Erlangen took four of his solo exhibitions. The artist's works acquired by the Bavarian State Foundation art collections in Munich.

His works are in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, Vladimir-Suzdal Historical and Architectural Museum-Preserve, museums of Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orel, Tver, Tula, Tyumen, in the collection of the magazine "Our Heritage", in private collections in Russia and abroad
